After the Tide is an on-going project based on my direct experience in relation to a specific territory, rich in individual and collective memories.

Living photography like a portal allowing to go from the intimate to the universal, I wonder about issues such as identity and belonging to places on which I project a personal narration.

The nature, unchanged and luxuriant, is the background to this 

The exploration of those natural places in which i grew up, give rise to a visual journey in search of a “primeval world”,

The experience of the body changes on the occasion of artistic creation.

In a play between self-representation, myth and fiction, the medium becomes a tool of excavation ad recomposition of an ideal "elsewhere", which often turns out to be only a mirage.

Timeless, a-geographical, the images finally reproduce the idea of a random and multi-layered universe, which morphology echoes with the stratifications of the memory and a deep desire for escape.
